107pp. Very pretty beige cloth cover, gold text with colour pictures of nursery characters by Kate Greenaway and Beatrix Potter, inter alia - ; pristine, protected with original glassine wrap. The whole covered by a tatty, foxed plain paper wrap. Some foxing to endpapers and to the very fore-edge of the pages. The rear flap of the glassine is creased. Some marking on the facing pages of the colour plates, of which there are 11 (black and white portrait frontispiece). Copiously illustrated throughout with black and white illustrations taken from Warne publications. 33a
